Welcome to Gladden Mart

Gladden Mart invites and welcomes anyone and everyone to come and socialise over the heritage of farming and rural life.
Through the 2024/25 Autumn/Winter programme we hope to give a warm welcome to 'visitors' local and international to share heritage stories ranging from farming in Canada in the early 1900s, the craft of shepherd's crook-making, the women farmers at Astley Hall, a little of the banking history of agriculture, the heritage of the wool industry in Australia and the revolutionary era of horsepower.
